Three learners have successfully completed the FLT Training Academy at Gatewen Training Services, which was supported by the Wrexham Council Employment Project and gap Personnel. They will now complete their inductions at Premier Decorations Wrexham and commence work placements prior to moving into paid employment.
Jordan Tipton, one of the learners, said:
"I have been unemployed for 18 months having previously worked as a groundworker. The FLT Academy offers a great opportunity for unemployed people to get back into the world of work. Thanks to everybody at the Employment Project, Gatewen Training Services and gap Personnel."
Commenting on the success of the programme, Adam McGrath, Branch Manager at gap Personnel Wrexham said:
"By working collaboratively with Remploy, Wrexham Council Employment Project and Gatewen Training Services, we believe we can provide our client companies and members of the public with an end to end service, resulting in sustained employment opportunities."
