Gatewen Training Services has delivered manual handling and lifting training for one of Wrexham’s best known light haulage and storage companies.
AD Wheeler operates throughout North Wales and the Northwest, providing light haulage, removals and storage services. To ensure the company complies with H&S requirements and looks after the wellbeing of its staff, AD Wheeler is committed to maintaining the safety and wellbeing of its employees working onsite and clients when working in their homes.
Russ Austin, one of Gatewen Training’s experienced trainers, delivered a refresher course of manual handling and lifting onsite at AD Wheeler’s premises. The participants actively engaged in the refresher training course to ensure best practices were being followed.
Commenting on the success of the course, company director Alan Wheeler, said:
“The health, safety and wellbeing of our team is paramount to us at AD Wheeler. We required a training provision that would suit our exact needs and Gatewen Training Services delivered exactly that by sending one of their trainers to shadow the team whilst they were working. The course was very thorough and it was great to see all employees engaging enthusiastically with the tutor. Russ was highly motivating; his valuable and sound advice was particularly beneficial.
Not only did Gatewen Training deliver an excellent training provision but they arranged the entire programme around our work commitments and delivered at our premises. We would recommend Gatewen Training Services to any company looking for a fully managed training provision.”
